Does not sound tooo high. American rich spend more on regular parties. Rich Indians do birthday parties that spend more. I have attended two. Five star hotel parties for just 15 to 20 will cost more.

A couple cases of beer and a cookout hamburgers and hot dogs at the park would be just as much fun and would only cost $100 or so.

And potluck! I LOVE tasting other's cooking!!!!!
