Yerp, it's not too late, but getting there fast. [theness.com]
Time is running out for us to halt the inexorable destruction of all life on this planet!
been studying all this in my grandsons studies ... we have 5 plastic islands in the oceans ...cattle and agriculture are main reasons for deforesting and an acre of hydroponics can produce more and also if fish are raised in the water can provide a second sustainable crop. plus bees can add a third so they pollinate naturally ... no pesticides and a mulch of the old plants can create rich soil to be sold or donated.... cows can be fed seaweed or kelp which as it turns grows faster than hay or grass and it cuts the farting by 80%... hello
@whiskywoman Yes...if we ditch the old fossil fuel dependency and adopt the new technologies, recycle old materials instead plundering our natural earth reserves to make new things, along with damping down consumerism and waste. It can still be done if we act as one right across the world, and for the sake of our children & future generations we need to do it now. Whether there is the political will in all countries and governments is quite another matter I’m afraid. Words and promises are easy to make but politicians only think short term to the next election and if it means telling people they may have to be taxed more to implement these new policies and air fares and petrol will cost considerably more, then you can guess what most of them will choose to do...nothing!
destroying all life on the planet won’t be easy but with a little effort I think we can succeed
@yvilletom Sadly so!
