Quantum God, Quantum Thoughts, and other such nonsense. While these capture the popular imagination, these are erroneous applications of physics into inappropriate realms. Quantum Mechanics only applies on atomic or subatomic scales. Once you consider macroscopic objects even as small as a grain of sand, quantum mechanics no longer applies. A thought, for example, involves more than a thousand neurons and billions of electrons so quantum mechanics no longer applies.

Thank You! It's true we have a lot to learn as far as the function of consciousness goes... but my attention wanders away as soon as someone says "quantum" outside the field of sub atomic physics... lol! I guess in one sense, they are doing me a favor... it makes it easier to filter out nonsense.
