Whether it is a pathogen, political ideology or current fashion trend once it is picked up by social media and hyped extensively no amount of facts is going to change those minds.
The witch hunts are pretty amazing - NO iphones, FB, twitter, etc. and the madness spread like wild fire.
There is no denying there is a pathogen making people ill but I have thought for some time the earth was ripe for a pandemic. I am on this rock with everyone else, not necessarily in the same boat. All I can do is avoid stupid mean people as much as possible.
It is sad to watch the demonizing of education, free thinking and one segment of a populace.
