My only complaint is in not pointing out that lessons are not something understood by some higher force and waiting for us to learn. They are simply things learned from any given action. Other than that I think this is beautiful.

Good rules to live by, although I think modern day progressives may have an issue with number 8. Although I think number 8 is accurate, some would contend "systemic racism" etc gets in the way, and that some have no choice. I wholeheartedly agree with 8 though, life ultimately is whatever you make it to be. Take most Christians for instance, they believe in a literal lake of fire, and not surprisingly their lives are a literal hell filled with self-loathing and misery.
