I have had that privilege only twice.
It changes you. Well, it changed me, anyway.

I will be clear, though - it's scary. There is no more prevaricating, elusiveness, whatever. It's honest. Piercing. If you get there, my friend, well - you'll know what I'm jabbering about. Happy trails and good hunting 
The 3rd time I had sex in a past relationship, missionary style, I looked at her face and thought to myself, 'wow she 's beautiful'. It wasn't about the sex, it was like an overall warm comfortable awe! Maybe it will happen again some day.

Yes, we were in love. The thing is, she completely dropped her guard with me (she's a fairly prickly personality in public). So, that was it. I got to see someone that no one else did. She gave that to me.
