That number could be much larger, and I hope it gets bigger!. The faster the herd culls itself, the faster the rest of us can return to a semblance of normal!

And the more of the far right that dies is better for everyone.

@xenoview funniest part is that the democrat states tend to have the higher death rates.

@CourtJester That's because of higher population.

@xenoview Hahahaha. So then shoot me the percentages then dumb ass. Liberal cities are higher populated with a bigger spread and more deaths. They have the highest mask requirements too.
It will help make my point.

Shoot those numbers. I see them everyday at work.

@CourtJester US COVID-19 cases and deaths by state

@CourtJester hey! some actual Facts for you from @xenoview! Give 'em a whirl, whydoncha?

@AnneWimsey we really should exchange phone numbers. I bet you and I would have a dammed ball.

But that is their right

The right to commit suicide with a hand-grenade at rush hour in the main subway station of a major city.

@Pedrohbds If you have a vaccine then you shouldn’t have anything to worry about. Correct???

@CourtJester is it an ironic question or at this point in 2021 you really don't understand how infections work?
Yes, vaccine will lower my chances to get an infection, lower the chances of complication and decrease the period where I can transmit a disease BUT, it is all chances, if a moron (or a group of morons) insist in not get vaccinated and continue to expose me many times to the virus, that might happen that i am exposed in a day where my immune system is weak (stress, another infection, lack of sleep of bad food etc), and I might get sick anyway.

On top of that any new infection is chance for mutations and the virus meeting vaccinated people increase the chances of a mutation that goes around the vaccines, so anti-vax, anti-mask etc are actively helping the virus to win the race against the vaccine by delaying the vaccine and giving chances of the virus to "learn" how to go around it.

And if you think this is all, you are wrong, there is more: Some people won't develop immunity due to their particularities (genetics, diseases, or just plain unlucky) and will rely that the virus won't get to them.

That is why I say that it is a suicide that can potentially take a lot of innocent people with you. Vaccine is not magic, it is not and individual solution, it is a collective solution to get rid of a disease.

@Pedrohbds So the protected need to be protected from the unprotected by forcing the unprotected to get the vaccine that the protected obviously aren’t protected by???

Have you really given any thought to the reasoning????

@Pedrohbds

@CourtJester Please, use a bit of your brain, your sentence has nothing to do with what I spoke.

You can only see the individual solution, and infections that spread so fast cannot be beaten by individual solutions. YES the vaccinated are highly protected against the virus that we know, but evolution is a fact and if there is a high % of morons unvaccinated the virus will continue to spread and have a infection coefficient higher than 1, this will give more and more opportunities for a mutation that can outrun the vaccine. It is a collective long term strategy.

The part of the people that are in risk due to bad immune system (temporary or permanent) or simply because the vaccine don't work 100% is simply human decency to protect the people around you.

And yes I thought a lot and i understand how population health work. And yes if there are fewer morons unvaccinated the few morons will have a better protection too.

The whole strategy is to make the R coefficient lower than 1, for this coeff to be lower than one with normal life back we need a high % of vaccinated. A coef lower than 1 means that the disease will fade away.

Vaccinated people have less infections, and if infected spread the virus for less time (this is the collective protection) and get softer versions of the disease, with low risk of death and permanent effects (this is the individual part of the protection).

BUT the collective part of the protection becomes less and less effective if there are too many unvaccinated people that continue to keep the spread high.

@Pedrohbds do you understand that you’re communicating with a doctor that spends six to seven days a week in the hospital with Covid patients?

The virus is a real thing. But if you trust your vaccine; nothing else should matter at all. If not; why should anyone else get it? Pretty ignorant selling point.

Go out and live your life and let others live theirs.

Unless of course you do not trust your vaccine…. Then why should we get it????

Go be Fucken FREE. I have a few vaccine cards and never had a single shot. I’m also around it every day. That says a lot about natural immunity. Don’t encroach on my freedoms because you’re a scared little crybaby bitch. You absolutely have every right to cry. Just keep your tears in your own soggy corner. Cause I don’t care even a little bit. We laugh at you for it actually.

We’re all going to die. It’s simply a matter of when and why; and you have no control over either. Sooooooo blah

@CourtJester stupid people can get diplomas too aparently. And well, this agressive posture and call to make things personal is typical of entitled 'muricans.

@Pedrohbds That reply was a whole bucket of zero.
I’ll assume that you understand that I’m right.

Thank you.

@Pedrohbds Court Jester is (one of our) resident weirdo(s).....and Not a doctor (except maybe an assistant of a chiropractor).
Whenever he runs into cogent arguement,he claims he is a doctor, or sometimes a Pharmacist..........AS IF they aren't on that Bell Curve like everybody else.
I regularly give him exactly what he deserves, contempt, and that spurs him to make googly eyes at me (as above)....he is in his 40's, I am 73, but then, he has weird "defenses". And yes, I have told him i don't do stupid.
So congrats, you rattled him.....but next time, save your breath......

@CourtJester welll, your last answer was just... "I am doctor, you are dumb"... So i adjusted my speech to who was listening =)

@AnneWimsey
Still haven’t proved me wrong though; have ya?

Try saying that to any suicidally stupid person.

Glad I got my booster on Friday.

I cannot comprehend what drives anybody to be suicidally stupid.
