I'm glad my hunch was right that Moderna was the right choice for me, since I was lucky enough to have a choice.

Everyone on island (except a couple of nitwits) received the Moderna vaccines. A recent friend did get the virus and was bedridden for some 7 weeks. She is elderly with non-hotchkins lymphoma and bouts of vertigo so it was bad but did not require hospitalization.

Lucky me that's my brand.

Yay! That's the one my older son and I got back in April/May. Unfortunately, his girlfriend that he lives with has been procrastinating terribly about getting it, and my younger son who recently turned 18 won't get it because reasons (he's smarter than everyone else.) If anyone has a guaranteed method to get people to change their minds, let me know. Begging and bribing have not worked for me.

That's what my son and I had, and I've been worried lately, because it's been over 6 months for me. That's good to know, although they haven't yet studied how long it lasts.
