Colin Powell dies of Covid at 84
Former Secretary of State Colin Powell in Alexandria, Virginia on September 7, 2012. As the first Black US secretary of state, he helped shape American foreign policy in several Republican administrations.
Until the end, Powell did not apologize for lying to American people about Iraq war and working as a hand of Bush and Cheney war profiteering machine. Julian Bond criticized the Bush administration for using its two black cabinet members, Secretary of State Colin Powell and National Security Advisor Condoleeza Rice, as “human shields”. He especially called Collin Powell as a throw-back to the slavery days when white plantation masters used back slaves as 'slave supervisors'.

He had multiple myeloma too, so his immune system was severely compromised.

Sadly he lived to 84. If he had died in Vietnam he could have possibly been revered.
He didn't.

He perpetuated George W.'s and Dick Cheyney's big lie. A sad downfall to an otherwise honorable life.
