I realised something today.

I've been in a new house for the last couple of weeks - post relationship, post every bloody thing really.

Surrounded by boxes and inertia.

And this is what I realised today. Recovery is not about therapy, or drugs or whatever.

It's about forward motion. Once you start getting things done, then you want more to get things done.

Homespun 101, I know; but, Christ in a sidecar, I needed this. Right, I'm back to it 🙂

Well, since you are all so fascinated with my so called life, here is my complete Oxford English Dictionary ensconced in its new home:

I'm currently reheating some takeaway then getting back to it.

Because, I know, you are all fascinated by this.

And, Christ in a sidecar, I am going to need a lot more bookshelves.

Pal, we ARE all fascinated by this. 😉 Happy for you!

Wow... who knew? 😉

Because you find this stuff out the hard way.

Starting over is hard...but also, filled with opportunities to remake your life. I’ve started over several times, for various reasons; a few times with nothing. (It’s just stuff, lol). When I left my ex, I moved to a place I had always wanted to be, where I knew nobody. It was awesome, and very healing.
Good on you for moving forward!

Thank you. It is extremely touch and go for now, but thanks for that.

I am in a similar situation. Divorce, I moved 1500 miles from my home town etc. I wnet to a job interview and the interviewer asked me "Isn't going from 15 years experience at a maximum security prison to a casino as security a step down?" I replied that it was a step forward.

I think you are correct. Keep Truckin!

Copy that. I have a base code in my head that has one simple message - "keep moving, soldier".

Which has sustained me.

Good luck to you brother.

@Palindromeman And to you,my friend.
