Not so far, and whenever I comment on other's posts I try to focus mostly on light hearted topics and avoid the political chats, as politics are one thing in this country that excels at dividing people. I would like to believe all of us on here share at least a few of the same ideas, and not all of us will be able to agree on everything 100% of the time. I'll be friends with anyone regardless of their views, and if someone does not care for mine they are free to ignore me then. I most likely will never get the chance to meet you in person, but I'm glad to call you a friend on here, and know that you are not alone on what you described above. Take care in the meantime.

Do you mean this is a conservative site? I did not know that because I am liberal and I'm not here to argue with members, liberal or conservative.

I didn’t have that many friends on the main forum of this website and whatever I lost there I regained tenfold from this group.

By group do you mean on this website or in general in your real life you have lost liberal friends?

Because I never really had any liberal friends on this site in the first place. But my liberal friends are still friends with me in real life. We are either smart enough or young enough to know that just because someone believes something that you don't, it doesn't mean that it should come between your friendship.

I had this one liberal friend who said to me "Z, you are probably one of my most reliable and trusted friends. But I just absolutely hate your opinions on some things and will never agree with you". To which I said "Now you see that? That means that we are better at being friends than enemies. So lets just stay friends"

I would no more have a Conservative friend than I would have a Nazi friend.

I am not surprised, I dropped many family and conservative friends due to their views. They did not meet my minimum acceptable values.
