Florida to feed starving manatees in rare conservation move

This move absolutely delights me! Just this February, we went to Florida to swim with these gentle “floating potatoes,” and it was a beautiful experience I was honored to have.

During our first swim, one cutie came up to me and offered me its belly for scritches and rubs. We spent about 10–15 minutes enjoying one another’s company.

So much of the world is at risk and deserves to be protected and saved. Cheers for one of my favorites, the simple manatee.
