Here is my best description of God (or god , if you prefer). Feel free to quote me, if you like....WHAT IS GOD?, God is a concept, and a name that we give to what we do not understand, and the object of many symbols, none of which has a claim to exclusivity.

When I say we, I am obviously referring to the human race in general. At any rate, I don't believe you quite understood my comment. A writer writes subjectively. He is not addressing each individual reader. And it should be "Whom are we referring to ?"; or better yet, "To whom are we referring ?".
