I'm getting my booster shot on the 4th.
Good! You might feel crummy for a few hours, but it's a sacrifice well worth it to protect yourself and others by extension of severe illness.
Is it guaranteed?
@FrayedBear Guaranteed you're gonna die of something, the vaccine makes it much less likely it'll be from Covid.
@barjoe You mean it's another pig in a poke? We've just had the goal posts widened. Instead of registering that you've been in somewhere & then notified an infected person had also been in the same premises close contact only occurs if a person that you live or work with and have been in contact with for more than 4 hours is reportable! Asymptomatic infections are no longer to be tested for!
Seriously Joe we are now supposed to have a diseases more than ten times infectious as the original version, they've now admitted that the testing used to date can't differentiate between flu and COVID and you want me to believe any booster irrespective of match to my original vaccinations will do me good? Has anyone produced proof? Had time to do so?
Omicron was only discovered in S. Africa 33 days ago. How have they developed and tested a vaccination in that time and over the seasonal holiday shut downs?
@FrayedBear Is that what I mean? No I meant what I said. Does RT promote vaccine reluctance as well? I'm not surprised.
@barjoe Joe I'm not debating what is said in RT, the post is an observation that you have made comments on. Where is your information from? I'm asking for proof of your assertion otherwise it is just woo like "god said so!"
