It is a statistical fact that a higher proportion of Black families are poor. This is because of systemic and structural racism going back centuries. They are also subject to racism in the justice system; it's far more likely for a Black person to be given prison time, rather than probation, for the same crimes committed by a white person, and they serve out a longer proportion of their sentence. All that also needs to be fixed.

I think people who ignore these issues are inferior citizens, and that sounds like it includes you.

If you want to see some racists, look at the men who murdered Ahmad Arbery. They assumed that a Black man jogging in broad daylight was a criminal and that they had a right to chase him down, surround him and pull a shotgun on him. Then, just to reinforce my point about racism in the justice system, it took months for this to even be investigated by the police.

It's just a crazy guess, but I don't think those guys were socialists, either; just based on what I've seen from white guys from Georgia.

I did point out that due to both historical and ongoing systemic racism, statistically more Black families are poor. The per capita poverty rate in the last Census was 25.8% for Blacks, compared with 11.6% for Whites. (https://www.census.gov/library/publications/2013/acs/acsbr11-17.html) You can't argue this, it's numbers.

However, because there are more white people, there are more white families in poverty than Black. Blacks are overrepresented in this statistic compared to their numbers.

Nowhere in there did I state or imply that anyone anywhere is incapable of living without the government. Millions of poor people manage.

Your repeatedly bringing up the supposed conclusion that Blacks are somehow inferior suggests that it's your opinion, since there is no basis in anything I wrote to suggest that. Your obsession with race suggests that you are the racist in this conversation.
