I think the more any film leaves the literal behind for the "literary" should be seen and cherished.
I also think that animation should strive to do what live action filmmaking can't.
Lastly, I think any animated film that doesn't look like Disney is a thing to be savored.
Say what you want about Jan Svankmejer, you will never see his films used to sell toys.
