A few of you know I am in Texas visiting family. It’s been an interesting trip. 😳 I’ll be glad to leave on the 9th of February. Saw this sign in a window of a coffee shop near my son’s place. I liked it and it made me smile.

Yes, that sign could be made into a small card to hand out to rude people.

I had dinner with an old friend the other day, and yes we had to wait an extra few minutes due to it being a busy night and short staffed, but my companion had no compassion whatsoever. He lit into the server at the end of the meal because the server carried his (empty closed) takeout container in his hand while he dropped off the check to another table, before handing the box to my friend.

He wasn't going to leave a tip for the server, so I tipped very generously in cash, and also tipped the musician, who my friend had complained only sang 5 songs before taking a break. Wow. I tip generously anyway, but the scene about carrying a box through the restaurant stopping briefly at another table was ridiculous. My friend carried his leftovers home through the restaurant to the car. Old curmudgeon!

It isn’t that hard to be kind to others. Some people just didn’t get the empathy gene I guess. ☹️

Safe traveling back , and glad u get to see family ♥️♥️♥️♥️🤗🤗🤗🤗
Yes , the sign is wonderful 🤗🤗🤗🤗

I don’t mind the long drive so much because I stop in Southern California to see Pam, (Lucy loo hoo) and then Ruth (Freedompath) in New Mexico. Always nice to spend time with Agnostic members. 😘 I think you should put one of these signs up where you work. 😘

Enjoy the rest of the time with your family.

I’ve enjoyed the grandkids as usual. And always hate to say goodbye to little Pyper. Can’t wait to get back home though. To many angry people down here for me! 😳

I'm glad you found something to make you smile - in addition to family. I hope the trip doesn't leave you with too many reminders of why you're glad to have left Texas.

I pretty much knew there were going to be some jerks I would encounter, and sure enough there have been two (men) who have screamed at me to go back to California. 🙄

@Retiredsteve Sadly the brainwashing is rampant down here. Just seeing my car with California plates triggers some of them! 😳

@Redheadedgammy That's so infuriating! They have no right to say anything to you, but the former guy has emboldened too many people to act out and act aggressively. Stay safe.
