We do believe everything these online subscription magazines publish, don't we?

Their source is Source: Royal Astronomical Society

@xenoview

And without the skepticism that science requires, with complete trust, we believe everything the RAS says, don’t we? Like the Roman Catholic pope, the RAS is infallible?

Who funds the RAS? Do taxpayers have to be persuaded?

I did a search on “do authors pay to be published?” and found “To publish in Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society with Open Access Lincense, authors are required to pay …” an unstated amount.
