It's been 9 months since we first separated. While I'm getting used to not seeing her on a daily basis, the one thing that puts me in a super depressive mood is the fact that I will miss our son's 7th birthday. Let me clarify when I say our son and actually mean our dog Wrex. Hopefully, she will buy him his favorite food for his birthday, a lamb steak.

Hey man, I had to leave my pup after living through floods and all just her and I for about 8 months. For the next few years I would see her as often as possible, like at least monthly, take her to the beach, camping and so on. Then about 6 years ago got her back again. She is at my feet now. Hope similar happens for you as well.
