Only in America can a politician be called a communist on one hand, and a corporate sellout (for the bank and auto industry bailouts) on the other.

@Beachslim7 So Abraham Lincoln was a communist? 3/4 of state legislatures, who ratified the 16th Amendment (writing the income tax into the Constitution), were communists? Eisenhower, who oversaw an administration where the top marginal rate was 91%, was a communist? Ronald Reagan, who signed tax increases in 1982, '83, '84, and '86, was a communist? Trump, whose tax "reform" eliminated itemized deductions (thereby raising peoples' tax bills) for union dues, home office expenses, work clothes, and bad business debts, is a communist?

Or, as is more likely (Occam's razor), do you just use the word "communist" for anyone and anything you don't like?

@Beachslim7 And our highway network, air traffic control, military, consumer protection agencies, law enforcement, public schools, emergency services (fire, ambulance, disaster relief), and more, couldn't exist without, as you say, "stealing money from taxpayers". I can only assume you're in favor of some of these things, and whether or not you are, you've benefited from them all your life. But you don't like to think about that, do you?

And just as a reality check, the Fed is an agency of the United States, its board and directors are federal appointments, and they are some of the most aggressive free-market advocates in the world.
