Movies: Just revisited a young Pacino at his best. "Dog day afternoon".1975. How the Elton John song "Amoreenna" introduce us to a City of New York Summer. Evoked time and place in my life. A movie were all acting was right on cue. Sometimes Nostalgia for good acting wins over CGI.

The part where Sal tries to say HE isn't gay sticks in my mind.

He was just an everyday, tipical psychopath not going back to prison! Sonny wanted his other wife!

I did'nt think anyone else remembered that song. lol

I was a fan before he became the pinball wizard.

Yeah, a real thumbs up piece of film.

Great movie, terrific acting.

Exactly, No CGI. True story.

Dog Day afternoon is a classic(in every sense of the word), true realist cinema at its best.

One of the greatest filmed scenes ever is at the start of the robbery.... Pacino trying to get the carbine out of the flower box. That is the scene stuck on my mind of the movie. That is how Reality functions.
