I was on another platform when I saw an account celebrate the mythological rape of Persephone by Hades. I replied something to the extent of "how vile and foul. Pedophilia should be condemned in all its forms."
Much to my shock, this person and their friends wholeheartedly believe such events took place. The rape was a real occurrence that they choose to celebrate.
