I wish I could set up a garden lord knows I have the room for it. I want to build a chicken/hen house but I've been procrastinating.. 2 yrs now, definately this spring. time to spring into action.. soon the weather will warm up I HOPE!

So far so good with mine (lettuce)...just took another pic this morning. I'm gonna try it out as a container planting (because l don't have a fenced in area just yet) and see how it goes!
@Free_2B_Me Yup warm weather finally came, heats been off for days now, grass is getting green just waiting for the ground to dry up some. As for the raised beds, Hay bails it supposed to be a neet way to grow too maybe not so much back bending there. Try Pintrest for some great ideas and much help there. Great site.

Cool... i love jasmine. All my plants died. To hot here and no shade. I watched them fade away and i could not save them. I had to cut my old oak trees down because of the hurricanes that hit us. I had to take up what was left of them. I picked this lot because of the trees on it. Now im without shade and it sucks.

So sorry to hear that! Trees are so much a part of us...(in my opinion). I'm so fortunate that l have these lovely Pecan and Oak trees...until it comes time to clean up/mulch all the leaves!
