It answered, “On July 4th, we celebrated the ten years since the announcement of the discovery of the Higgs Boson.”

Had the article said "...since the discovery of the Higgs Boson" it would have been a lie.

The theorized Higgs boson hasn’t been discovered. Like so much of the Big Bang story, it has been claimed and people who rely on authority believe.
