A little turtle stands at the bottom of a tall tree, looks up, and starts to climb. It takes him a long time to get to the top. Here he spreads his flippers and throws himself off the tree. Thank goodness, he lands in the piles of leaves at the bottom. He crawls back to the bottom of the trunk and starts his journey again.
On a branch of a neighboring tree, two birds watch this brave little turtle.
"Don't you think we should tell him, he is adopted" says one bird to the other.
