Trump has been unable to actually implement most of his immigration policy as it has been struck down several times (srick down each tiem he modifies it so far) by the courts.
However, his rhetoric has discouraged illegal immigration to some extent, causign a shortae in cheap labor. Still, unless he can make his policies stick, which he so far has been unabel to do, it will only be temporary at best.
