I just got a message from someone that stated I was their 3rd greeting in as many weeks. This is not the first time someone has brought up that they are getting multiple greetings and while they've all been cordial, I get the subtext that it's coming off as a bit "spammy"

Maybe limit the greetings to one or two per person and put a time limit to when a person gets a greeting? I don't know but thought I'd bring this to y'alls attention.

I agree with you. If I were a new member and got more than one "Welcome" greeting as a private message, it would definitely feel spammy to me.

Apparently my setting don't offer many greetings. They did use too though.

I don't think I would count one greeting a week as "spammy." I think that is a reasonable amount.
