And especially for guys... Everyone knows they only get one nipple pierced. After they find out how much it hurts they don't want to do the other side. Ha, ha I guess.

That's a story from the wife of a friend. She had a very successful nail salon in the Seattle area until she got driven out of business by Asian immigrant competition. Then she opened a tattoo/piercing parlor (frankly, I wouldn't let her anywhere near my body to make any permanent mark. I wouldn't trust her enough.
)
She said it was amazing how common it was for guys to came in to get both nipples pierced but then decide not to get the 2nd side done -- when they found out how painful the first one was. Ha, ha. I guess.
