Hear it from the horse's mouth. Those who know the truth despise "political correctness".

She's redundant to a fault and ends a screed against Islam by praising god? WTF? I'm happy she's gotten smarter about Mohamed but her speech didn't do much for me.

Why does she have to do "much for you"? Have you ever been a woman living under a sadistic repressive Islamic theocracy? She may have repeated some comments, but English isn't her first language, is it. Why does she have to impress you. anyway?

@fishline79 You’re right. She doesn’t.

@rainmanjr Islam is a scourge on the planet. Worse than any other religion. A bunch of savage animals, so good for her.

@barjoe It's no worse than Xtian or Hindi dogma but certainly more violent. That's why praising god to counter the dogma of religion seems obtuse (for me, at least). Other than that her words meant pretty much nothing to me but might to Islam women (who are not leaving Islam, only removing their hijabs). Again, I wonder if Omar has removed hers and I just haven't heard about it?

@rainmanjr She said "God Bless America" at the end. So what? Aloha Snackbar!

@barjoe So what? It returns a power to the idea of god to counter another idea of god. The tendency of liberals, especially Atheists, to write-off the pernicious poison that is god never fails to make me SMH and roll my eyes.

@rainmanjr I still admire her for taking a stand against violence of Mohammadanism.

@rainmanjr I'll admit that I hadn't followed her talk to the last word and that does put a bit of a damper on it. She should have left well enough alone and not exchanged one impressive deity for another although they are one and the same.

What a hero!

It's nice to see there is somebody in this thread who listened to her message!

We also despise people who say "politically correct" to denigrate plain old "not being an asshole to people". It's not "political correctness" to realize and accept that other people have feelings, it's empathy.

How imperiously arrogant of you to "despise" me. I'm flattered, you prig! It's "politically correct" to avoid criticizing a religious institution because it will offend its adherents". ie: "It's been here since the eight century. It must not be maligned for it's obvious flaws since so many people are enslaved by it". I'd say the same thing about "Christians". What does it have to do with empathy? I can't really empathize with this woman because I can't begin to relate to what she and her family have gone through, but I certainly can sympathize with her, or anybody who is forced to endure Islamic, Sharia repression.
