Are humans limited to 150 friends?
(obviously this researcher never heard of Facebook)

Wow, I can't imagine having 150 real friends. I'm not sure I have even one real friend, but I have a lot of acquaintances in varying degrees. Facebook friends? Some of them I only met once or some not at all, some are folks I barely tolerate, but they are still connections, just not always happy ones!

I have several friends I talk to on a regular basis, and a ton of FB friends and "dance friends" from the dance community I belong to... but I don't have a "bestie". That usually doesn't work out well for me.

@TheoryNumber3 Yes, that's more like what I meant. I have "friends" in various aspects of my life, and a few close friends that have come and gone, and perhaps I'm just not "best friends" material. I enjoy my time alone and doing what I want when I please, so it's all good.
