Just sharing some pics from my walk around the yard this morning...long stemmed rose is getting ready to bloom...princess flower is getting buds on it...found a clump of frog eggs in one of my water fountains...and a wren nest with eggs too! Nature is beautiful!?

I love roses too, but have more shade than they like...doing what l can to keep my last 2 alive!
@Free_2B_Me when my husband and I bought our house he said that he wanted to plant rose bushes for every year we have been married. We started out pretty good, but lost quite a few last year due to the weather. I think I have 7 or 8 bushes now, and we will be married for 23 years in a few months. We were just talking about how we need to go shopping and get some more planted.

I'd have to look it up to know for sure, but some type of wren or nuthatch...it's small and brown...
Nice, I keep looking for signs of life on my perennials, but so far just crocus and daffodils... lol

I've noticed some things come back quicker than others...l had over wintered mine in my greenhouse...
