I've recently discovered Midnight Diner on Netflix. It's a tv series from Japan.
A scarred man operates a midnight diner in the backstreet of Shinjuku, Tokyo. No one knows his name or his story, but his customers each bring him theirs. Each episode is about an ordinary person and their personal circumstances, with focus on the goodness of humanity. It makes a good change from cop, action or supernatural series. I like it.
[netflix.com] (with English subtitles)
You make very good dishes. I really like it, I want to try something like that, I already made a video, but I can't get it into the editor. I understand that I need a converter. Will this [movavi.com] work?
I used to watch movies with subtitles, until i started to lose vision. Now it is just too difficult. It tool a really long time to watch Game of Thrones as i had to keep pausing every time a ne subtitle came on. That was the one exception for watching subtitled entertainment.
Still, it sounds like a great concept for a TV show.
As streanimg services become more popular, I keep expecting the miniseries format to come back. It just came to mind as in Japan they do miniseries types of stories just as a part of regular programming. The streaming service seem ideal for that.
I’ll ck it out! Thanks for posting. Maybe one day I’ll make it to my Mother's home country.
