Allergies trigger my asthma, especially in the Spring (pollen from trees and bushes).

Year-round, I take Zyrtec and use Fluticasone Propionate nasal spray daily. There's an asthma inhaler in my purse and daypack. I neve go without it.

When I lived in Oregon, I’d often visit the coast.. I’d tell locals how much I’d like to live there, and how lucky they were… More times than I can remember, they’d tell me how much they’d like to ‘live in the valley,’ but their allergies are so bad they ‘have to live at the coast.’

My memory of San Diego was ..expensive near-ocean property and increasingly hot desert encroaching homes further out - and a rattle snake alert cuz they were having babies! You need some on-shore flow, or that prescription benadryl
