I don't post much to this particular group because I'm not very political. Here's what I'll say about some of the more visible issues though. I don't like guns. I don't like alcohol, I don't like being gay, I don't like being transgender. What I do like is freedom. Not just mine, everyone's. Therefore I'm for freedom whether or not it's a particular freedom that enhances my life or not. It's just that simple. The end.

That's called being liberal, in the truest sense of the word, which is a good thing and how all of society should aspire to be like. Based on today's standards/definitions, people like that would often times be referred to as libertarian, regardless of whether or not one identifies with that particular political party or not.
