Yes, it has been like that for a while. The best thing is, if you want to say something rude about another member, do it in public, on a post. Its much better that way really.

What if you want to say something nice?

That appears to be a common problem. I sometimes wonder if it is a "scammer prevention" measure. But a very blunt one.
Perhaps messaging could be a "perk" for level 7 upwards, with lower levels permitted a weekly ration, perhaps.
Zero for 1; 1 for 2; 3 for 3; 5 for 4;
Then 1 a day for 5; and 3 per day for level 6.

At level 8, I have not been able to send messages. IDK if anyone has been trying to message me, but I have not received any.

@Organist1 The levels thing was only a suggestion.
Meantime, I sent you a message for testing purposes.

@Organist1 I messaged you last week to confirm your address. Had some extra goodies, and was gonna send you some…..😞

@Buck Oh, I didn't get the message! Thanks so much! You are so generous. The messaging appears to be working now, for the moment.

@Petter Buck lives in the same state I do. Of course I also live in a permanent state of confusion. Buck is always well organized, though, while I am just an organist.
