Having prosecuted my share of rape cases, and similarly to my comments regarding the Kavanaugh allegations, the arguments I used repeatedly were, if the victim was lying they would have made up a much better lie and would you want to tell 12 total strangers about your last sexual encounter? Wouldn't E. Jean Carroll have picked a non-public place for her rape to have occurred, in case someone would have seen her without Trump in Bergdorf?
