Today, April 29th, is day 119 of the year.
Today's mass shooting in Cleveland, Texas, brings the US mass shootings total so far this year to 170.
And I am told that the numbers killed in such shootings, are small compared to the number of people who shoot themselves, family or friends, just by pure stupid accident, while cleaning and testing their guns etc. . Though I do not have the stats, and could be wrong.
I love how safe America is with all these guns. The pro-gun people certainly have shown us ant-gun weirdos that more guns absolutely make us safer.
I guess safety simply costs the lives of a lot of innocent people.
When politicians vigorously defend the right to own firearms, the impression they give is that it is a viable way to resolve a problem and we see the devastation that results from it.
De-escalation is no longer a first choice, it is not even considered anymore.
What happened to the value of life?

What was that about a well regulated militia?
Truthfully, Petter, you know how much I admire you, but I do not understand why you are so fascinated by these American issues, when the continent of your birth is in such turmoil. Why don’t you start posting about THAT?

You talk about Africa as though it is a country.
The African continent has a land area of 30.37 million sq km (11.7 million sq mi) — enough to fit in the U.S., China, India, Japan, Mexico, and many European nations, combined.
It comprises many nations, some reasonably stable, such as Kenya - my birthplace.
You will notice that I do post items about Kenya, such as that despicable starvation cult.
