I don't have any kids, so no grandkids, no family to speak of. Nothing in the future that won't involve me will ever matter because I won't exist.

Absolutely not! No kid of mine is going to the moon! They got no business gallivanting around on the damned moon like a bunch of lunatics. They need to keep their asses right here on Earth like normal folks. Other kids are off making something of themselves while my kids are hopping around on the moon like a bunch of dumbasses. Over my dead body!

They have to build shelters. There is supposedly abunch of hydrogen3 which could help make water and be used for power. I expect miners will be going to the Moon in about 20 years. The Chinese have talked about it and the Russians are looking at the cost ratio.
