I don't think highly of skeptics. Being skeptical is different than being a skeptic. Being skeptical is necessary in many ways. Being a skeptic means that is their lot in life. To be skeptical but also in not being wrong. You ever met a good skeptic that would admit to mistakes, errors or being wrong? Modern day skeptics are nothing but destroyers. They build or create nothing, absolutely nothing. It's like the difference between sometimes being asshole-ish and being an asshole. That's my opinion of what a modern day skeptic is.

There is a measure of truth in what you say, however I prefer skeptics over gullible fools being controlled by misanthropic oligarchs. Were it not for skeptics, controlling the masses would be even easier than it is now. Are you not skeptical of Trump's intentions for this country? Are you not skeptical of religious leaders fleecing the flock? I think perhaps you are applying two different notions to a single word. Also making assumptions on the nature of skepticism. That's my opinion.

@FvckY0u I consider myself a skeptic. I have had a productive career and I am always open to listen to reason. Skeptics ask questions because they want to know why they are doing something. I understand there are some who use it in an obstructionist manner. There are some who are lazy. I have never thought the idea of wanting to know why you are doing something as s bad thing. In fact it can help head off problems before they start. Again there is a measure of truth to some of your assertions but I would be cautious about applying them in a wholesale manner. IMHO. Enjoy your day.
