It is Kentucky Derby weekend and this year I have decided to hide!!

I usually go to either The Oaks on Friday (today) or the Derby on Saturday (tomorrow) but this year I just can't force myself to endure the crowds. I'm getting old.

I used to like going to Indy 500 time trials or Carburation Day the last Friday before the race.
Can't handle the crowds anymore either.

When the horses start beating and riding the people, I'll watch it. Unless it is now a hat throwing contest....that would be fun.

I've always thought the Derby would be fun, but I don't think I could afford the grandstand and the infield looks a too Party Out of Bounds.
