Back in my younger days, this was kind of my theme song, at least until I met and married my husband. I heard it again a couple of weeks ago for the first time in years. It’s such a haunting and beautiful song about wanting to be loved.

This song was part of my youth, too. How about "I Want to Know What Love Is...I want you to show me?" Same concept.

I remember this. I was a fan of hers when I was in junior high (and further on). She and I are about the same age. She had a mature voice and gave mature interpretations of the songs she sang.

Had a crush on Brenda Lee when I was just a little guy.

@ProudMerry I saw her at Camden Park when the musical acts used to play on top of the ice cream vendor's building.
