It's so easy to visit neighbouring countries when you live in the UK. You fly out for only 1-2 hours, and you find yourself immersed in different cultures just like that.
It's weird to know that right now in Alicante, the temperature is well above 20C, and people are eating and drinking outside bars and restaurants, wearing only T-shirts and sundresses. They will probably go to the beach later for a quick swim under the warm sun and blue skies. Historic architecture always fascinates me.
It's been fricking cold and wet in Plymouth since I came back!
