A very good presentation on the whole. He acknowledges there’s no problem being religious and studying science and sometimes remembers to include the adjective, “fundamentalist” when referring to his Christian targets.

But he comes dangerously close to committing the same crime he’s hollering about. The main thrust of his complaint is that the fundamentalists are cherry-picking bad science or fake science and using it to tarnish the reputation of the entire scientific establishment.

In order to avoid doing the same thing to religion, he could have been more specific in describing his target. Everything he’s saying is true of Meyer and Discovery Institute, and the fake Christianity known as fundamentalism, but nowhere near true of “Christians” as an all-inclusive term.
