Ummmmm, I have recently gotten off all insulin and every other Type II med except metformin (which i have taken Many meds, mostly in tandem, since my diagnosis in 1992, by diet alone. ( X-Low carbs).
Note: All lipids normal now too, and off statins as well, after several decades of, for one example, triglycerides in the mid 350's despite statins.
On a program accepted by the VA and hopefully soon by Medicare, no supplements, no pills, in fact Just xx low carbs.

Type 2 is known to be reversible under certain circumstances, but no such luck with Type 1 (the type I have) though. That said, good to hear you've been able to improve your condition.
