Good morning everyone! I am excited to share I am going to a party today! I will see old friends and have a lot of laughs! Its the first time in months I have done anything fun. All of my time was spent with my mom and now I have a new found freedom. Its strange for me but I am happier these days. Sure I have moments but she's no longer suffering and at peace and now I can live my life again. I hope that doesn't sound selfish, its been a long road of sadness watching her deteoriate.

That's a great idea! I will.
Lost of a parent is rough. My dad's death was unexpected and my mom's was long and slow (cancer). I find that time is the best healer because they will be part of your memory for as long as you live. Enjoy the party.

Oh it's awful when its unexpected! So was my dad's! It was rough watching her deteoriate but she's better off now. Thank you!
