Our fireworks will be at 9 so if one wants to go one can still be back in bed before midnight.

@Jolanta Here sunset is 4:30. Anytime after that the 'fun' begins. However, it's illegal here and the sheriff's are really busy.

@jackjr The town puts on a great fireworks display here. Many people go. It is around the lake and quite lovely. There will be lots of entertainment too.

@Jolanta No New Year fireworks but a super 4th of July show. Again, it's about geography and this island has a large bay. There is a peninsula connected by a causeway. The other, larger islands get together to work on our fireworks which are shot on the causeway. Not only do the sound reflect off the adjourning hills but the reflection is on both the Bay and the Sea on the other side of the causeway. They are even visible from the county seat, Friday Harbor.
