"Hyperbolic Projection" explained
HYPERBOLE: Exaggerated statements or claims not meant to be taken literally:
"He vowed revenge with oaths and hyperboles" •
PROJECTION is a process or a defense mechanism in which one attributes one's own characteristics, feelings, or impulses to another person or group
The transparent and demented rant by Mr. Trump on the steps of the NY Courthouse on Feb. 16, after the court's decision was delivered, was an abbreviated concatenation of every rally "tirade" this seriously mentally deranged paranoid schizophrenic narcissist has delivered in the past ten years. His self-aggrandizing monologues, apparently designed to minimize his own inadequacies, and which, in fact, merely turn them around and project them onto virtually everybody else, as if he alone were without fault, are examples of what I call "Hyperbolic Projection" which is the preferred "M.O. of the man whom roughly half of the country believe capable of being the "leader of the free world" The fact that so many people can watch this gibberish and be moved by his perceived sincerity, and actually send him money to pay his debts, attests to the appalling lack of education and common sense among his "MAGA" followers and instills the other half of the country with a feeling of profound desperation. and shame.
