This may be making a mountain out of a molehill. A lot of foods, even completely natural food, contains harmful substances. Pears contain formaldehyde. Apples, pears, and grapes can contain traces of arsenic. Many types of beans contain lectins which is harmful but only if you eat the beans raw.
You're probably far more likely to die of cancer (which is quite natural) or be killed in a car wreck than die from eating too many Cheerios.
I heard this crap was toxic years ago. I only eat organic, if at all possible.
Organic food uses pesticides too and usually moreso than GMO food.
