One Love: The Bob Marley Story - just my take.

I knew the basic story. Bob leaves Jamaica to escape political violence and protect his family. In London, they record the album Exodus with the aim of making a defining statement, and does so successfully.

Very good cast but I found their accents strong to the point that closed captioning would have helped. Having better knowledge of the political situation in Jamaica at the time could have helped. Also a better understanding of Rastafarianism. You will want to run out to the car and put on Exodus. Am not sure if I came away with a better sense of Marley. His wife Rita comes across as the strong one in their relationship in not only supporting his career, but also for him to express himself.
