I’ve learned to keep my mouth shut and deflect what I can because I work with the public. It’s really, really hard. I have to work with people who are barely scraping by but they don’t get the irony that Trump and his minions are the people who are directly and indirectly making their lives tougher, but since I work whole days with them I keep politics off the table, and to their credit they usually do too. Usually.
